Agarkar Joins Delhi Capitals As Assistant Coach
Delhi Capitals, an Indian Premier League (IPL) side, announced on Wednesday the hiring of former India bowler Ajit Agarkar as the group's new assistant coach.
"I am overjoyed to be a member of the Delhi Capitals team this year. In a Delhi Capitals statement, Agarkar remarked, "I have been fortunate to be a player and to be back in a different capacity.
Obviously, it's really thrilling. Rishabh Pant, one of the most gifted players in the world, is the captain of our young and outstanding team. Additionally, the coach Ricky Ponting is regarded as a gaming legend. I'm excited to work with them and I can't wait to start making some unique memories," he continued.
The 44-year-old has played for Delhi Daredevils and Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL, and he has 288 ODI and 58 Test wickets to his credit.
